Swell Cafe's Lunch Menu 2012


Lunch: Salads 15 (all Gluten free)

Smoked salmon salad, with Spanish onion, capers, goats cheese and avocado tossed through rocket

chimichurri chicken salad with roast sweet potato and pumpkin, baby spinach, feta, slithered almonds with a minted yoghurt dressing

Chorizo and Crispy prosciutto salad with wild rocket, pear, toasted pine nuts, topped with roast cherry tomatoes and served with a pecorino and roast garlic vinaigrette

Other:

Soup of the day served with crusty bread 9.50

Pie of the day served with a garden salad 15

Beef Burger served with caramelised onions, bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato, mixed leaves and bbq sauce 16.50

Sweetcorn fritters layered between smoked salmon, avocado and mixed leaves 15 GF

Swell’s club sandwich with poached chicken breast, roast tomato, avocado, bacon and garlic aioli served with potato crisps15

Steak sandwich with tomato, mixed leaves, mayonnaise, Spanish onions and bbq sauce 15

The Reuben sandwich on rye served with kettle chips:
Cornbeef, caramelised cabbage, swiss cheese and Dijonnaise on lightly pan fried rye bread 15

Pulled pork with fennel slaw and a pear and cider chutney served on a capane roll 16

400g sharp aged cheddar, leg ham off the bone, red pepper relish, pickled onions, cornichons, walnuts and pear served with rye and baguette

Thai coconut chicken topped with mint, peanuts and fresh lime
Tuna, tomato and mixed leaves topped with green tomato chutney

Marinated home made labne cheese, with roasted vegetables, pesto and beetroot relish
Satay chicken with snowpea sprouts, carrots, bean shoots, coriander and home made satay sauce
Slow cooked lamb with baby spinach, pistachios and a cumin and chive lentil hummus
